The Summer Sneakers programs is a supervised recreation program for childrenl. Activities throughout each day may include arts & crafts, sports & games, field trips, special visitors and more. Upon registration, detailed information including field trip schedule (one field trip per session is planned), behavior guidelines and more will be provided to parents/guardians in the Parent Information Packet. Eligibility Requirements: Children who have completed Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th grades - OR- Rising 1st - 5th graders! Additionally, unless assistance from staff is pre-arranged, children must be able to do the following independently: follow directions, exhibit age-appropriate social skills and function in a highly stimulating group environment. Camp Days & Times: June 24-Aug. 2 (No program on July 4 and July 5) Monday - Friday, 7:30AM-6:00PM Location: Acquinton Elementary School
*Out of County registrations will begin to be accepted (as space permits) May 15, 2013.
Fees NOT pro-rated for days when child is absent or in summer school.
Registered children may bring a "guest participant" for $25 per day. (Max 4 days) Guests are not permitted to attend camp on scheduled field trip days. All participants, including "guests" must complete a registration form and the guest's parent or guardian must sign the registration form. Guests must meet the same camper eligibility requirements listed above.
- The Summer Sneakers Program is for children who have COMPLETED K-4th grades for the 2012-2013 School year -OR- for children that will be attending 1st-5th grade for the 2013-2014 School year!
