After School REC 2012-2013

After-School REC is a recreational program that strives to reinforce healthy behavior skills, positive attitudes, and study skills learned in school. In addition to homework assistance, the group will engage in reading time and a variety of recreational activities including arts & crafts, sports & games, field trips, special visitors and more.



Fee listed is for the entire school calendar year. (Cost breaks down to $50/week) Please Note: The weekly fee will be pro-rated for days when the program is closed for staff development, early dismissal and/or school closure.



Payments are accepted on a weekly or monthly basis.



Program will not be held on early dismissal/staff development days or when schools are closed due to inclement weather. If school is dismissed early due to inclement weather: The After School REC progam will resume at dismissal-Parents have one hour from time of dismissal to pick up their child.



The After School REC program will be held at Cool Spring Primary starting at school dismissal until 6:00 pm. (*Children registered for the After School REC program that attend Acquinton Elementary School will be placed on the Activity Bus to Cool Spring Primary at school dismissal.)

Fees:
  • After School REC Flat Fee: Max: $50/week (The weekly fee will be pro-rated for days when the program is closed due to staff development, early dismissal and/or school closure.)
  • 10-visit punch card: $110 (non-refundable if lost or stolen)
  • KWP&R special program: $5 per day (Available to participants attending at the conclusion of a KWP&R After School program only. Special programs include: Mad Science, Young Rembrandts, Overtime Athletics & BeeFit programs.)
